Beacon Hill Legislative Day - Joint Committees on Healthcare Financing and Community Development & Small Business

The board of directors of the MAPS strongly encourages both members and non members in Massachusetts to attend these hearings.  This invitation is from Sen. Michael Moore.

I’d like to invite you to a joint hearing of the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Business and the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing, being held on Wednesday, March 10 at 1 PM in Hearing Room A-2 at the State House.
 
The Committee will hold an oversight hearing on the audit practices and implementation of regulations 430 CMR 15.01-15.11 of the Division of Unemployment Assistance. The Division is responsible for the collection of assessments made relative to an employer’s Fair Share Contribution. This is an opportunity for businesses to share their experiences with both Committees as well as the new Secretary.
 
Following the oversight hearing, the two committees will hear testimony on sections 24-31 and sections 53-62 of the Governor’s Job Creation Bill H4490. Please feel free to share this information with those who may be interested.
