Director of Medical Communications

Prestige Scientific has recently engaged in a national search for a Director of Medical Communications for an established client with headquarters in Massachusetts. Details of the client and the opportunity can be discreetly shared with interested individuals.

The Director of Medical Communications will help build the medical communications functions internally. Although an established company, this function has been traditionally outsourced and there is now a high priority to develop the department. Reporting to the CMO, this role will immediately participate in two product launches in 2010. The first is anticipated at the end of Q1 and the incoming Director will immediately review the risk component proposed to the FDA. In the first 90 days, a full understanding of needs for advertising and literature for this launch will be needed. Looking more long term, your knowledge of strategy will come into play as you prepare for the launch of the second product.
